How it works
Contact me to arrange an appointment for a half-hour intake interview. Unless you live outside of Amsterdam, it will take place at my practice. I will ask you a series of questions to assess your situation and whether or not I am qualified to help you. If not, I will do my best to refer you to another professional.
Should we decide to work together, we will explore which areas you would like to work on, how many sessions are necessary (generally between four and eight) and set up an appointment for the first hour-long session.
Please note that I am currently unable to take on new clients. Feel free to email if you'd like to be added to my waiting list - February 2019
€25,00 (incl.btw) / half-hour intake session - to be paid by bank transfer prior to the appointment or in cash on the day
€75,00 (incl. btw) / one-hour session (50% will still be charged for appointments that are cancelled within 48 hours and 100% for a same-day cancellation or no-show.)
NB: Fees are not subject to reimbursement from your insurance company.
All information disclosed in therapy remains confidential except under extreme circumstances. For example, if it emerges that you are in danger, a risk to your own safety or someone else’s. In these exceptional cases I reserve the right to break our confidentiality agreement and inform the relevant authority. I would of course discuss this with you first.
I adhere to the code of ethics outlined by the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy):
